Michael Kortenbusch is the founder and the managing director of BFC. He began his development finance career in 1997. His experience includes consulting to International Financial Institutions, banks and Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) in Europe and Asia, as well as managing an MFI. He is fluent in German, English, and Russian.

Peter Hauser joined BFC in 2004 and has implemented over 15 projects involving lending operations improvement, credit scoring, feasibility studies, and assessments of financial institutions. He is fluent in English and Russian.
