BFC developed a Credit Scoring methodology for the partner institutions, thus improving the efficiency of loan approval process and maintaining a high quality of the loan portfolio.

BFC overcame the expectations by:

• Developing four hybrid statistical/expert application scorecards as for agricultural enterprises and for non-agricultural enterprises
• Developing policies and guidelines for automatic setting of loan conditions such as loan amount, maturity, and monthly payment
• Providing recommendations on strengthening the IT-system
• Conducting training seminars on the development of scoring system
