Market Assessment of the Needs of MSEs

BFC undertake a thorough and rigorous study of the characteristics of the demand for financial services in Egypt with an analysis of the existing gap between demand and supply.

The main objective of the study is to:

  • Provide comprehensive analysis of the characteristics of the potential demand for financial products and services needed by MSEs in the Egyptian market.
  • Assess the existing supply of financial services by the different providers: microfinance institutions, commercial banks, service companies, government programs.
  • Collect the views of experts, entrepreneurs, international, and donor organizations supporting the microfinance sector in EgyptPresent the results of the study in a comprehensive report.
