BFC has participated in the first phase of the GTZ funded programme “Institutionalization of internal control system in small and medium MFOs”.

During the initial stage of the capacity building BFC has:

• Revised the Regulation on internal audit and internal control in MFOs
• Provided recommendation to GTZ trainers on the Training of Trainers (ToT) module
• Delivered a 4-day seminar on Risk management and Internal audit to internal auditors of 9 MFO’s, GTZ experts and ToT trainers
• Delivered a 1-day seminar on Risk management and Internal audit function in MFO for the top managers of 9 MFO’s.
