During the SME Lending Strengthening programme at a local bank, BFC support covered: situation analysis, model development, implementation and training.

During the assignment BFC consultant has:

• Indentified the deficiencies of techniques and methodologies used by the SME credit department
• Provided recommendations for improvement of the SME loan decision making
• Implemented necessary adjustments to the lending products in order to increase their profitability and accessibility

Developed the skills of the SME lending staff by class-room and on-the-job training.
